How it works

Verifier doesn't store your rules: each time you open the panel or the page, it reads the server's AutoMod rules. Turning a rule off disables it instead of deleting it, so changes you made in Discord stay.

Members with the Administrator or Manage Server permission are never blocked. Keywords are changed in Server Settings › AutoMod.

The rules stay in the server if Verifier is removed.

Keep the rule names

Verifier only changes the rules it created with the Verifier · names. If you rename one, Verifier creates a new rule the next time you turn that rule on.

Verifier needs Manage Server

Discord only lets a bot create and change AutoMod rules with the Manage Server permission.

Troubleshooting

Saving fails with a permission error

Give the Verifier role the Manage Server permission in Server Settings › Roles.

My own messages aren't blocked

Members with Administrator or Manage Server are never blocked. Test with an account that has neither.

There are two copies of the same rule

One was renamed, so Verifier created a new one. Delete the extra rule in Server Settings › AutoMod.
