Quick start
Every module already records what it does; you only choose where it's posted.
- 01
Run
/log settingsOr open the Logging page in the dashboard.
- 02
Pick a default log channel
Every action that's turned on is posted there.
- 03
Turn off what you don't need
Every action is on by default, including ones added later.
Commands
/log settings needs the Manage Server permission.
- Free
/log settingsOpen the log settings panel for this server.
Settings
Change them with /log settings or on the Logging page in the dashboard.
| Setting | What it does | Default | Plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Default Log Channel | Where every action that's turned on is posted. | None | Free |
| Actions | Turn single actions, or all of a module's actions, on or off. | All on | Free |
| Per-action channels | Post an action to a channel of its own instead of the default log channel. | Default Log Channel | Premium |
| AutoMod alerts | Where AutoMod posts a copy of every message the Verifier rules block. Discord posts these itself, so the posting limit doesn't apply. | None | Free |
How it works
Every module records its actions in the audit log, which you can browse and filter on the Logging page. Free servers keep 7 days of history; Premium Silver servers can look back 30 days, Gold 60 days and Diamond 90 days.
Verifier posts at most 50 logs per server per minute. The 51st posts one notice to the default log channel that logging is paused, and posting starts again the next minute. The audit log still records everything.
If Premium Gold ends
Per-action channels are kept, but their logs go to the default log channel until the server has Premium Gold again.
Premium
Silver: 30 days of audit log history. Gold: per-action channels and 60 days of history. Diamond: 90 days of history.
Troubleshooting
Some actions aren't posted
They may be turned off, or no default log channel is set. Verifier also needs View Channel and Send Messages in the log channel.
Logs stopped for a minute
The server hit the limit of 50 posts per minute. Posting starts again the next minute, and the audit log keeps every event.
The audit log only goes back 7 days
That's the free limit. With Premium Silver the Logging page shows 30 days, with Gold 60 days and with Diamond 90 days.
