Quick Start
Lock the channel you're in, then unlock it when things calm down.
- 01
Run
/lock channelLeave the channel option empty to lock the one you're in. Members can still read, but can't send messages or start threads.
- 02
Add a Reason
Optional, up to 200 characters. It's shown in the lock notice and in the audit log.
- 03
Run
/unlock channelVerifier restores only the permissions it changed.
Commands
Both commands need the Manage Roles permission, and Manage Permissions in the channels they change. Options marked with a crown need Premium.

Settings
Change them with /lock settings or on the Lock page in the dashboard. Both need the Manage Server permission.
| Setting | What It Does | Default | Plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lock Notice | Posted in the channel when it locks and deleted when it unlocks, with the reason and unlock time. A custom message, up to 1,000 characters, needs Premium Diamond. | Off | Free |
| Staff Roles | Roles that keep talking in locked channels. Up to 10. | None | Premium |
| Lockdown Channels | What /lock all, raid lockdown and the schedule lock instead of every channel. Up to 25 channels or categories; a category covers every channel in it. | Every channel | Premium |
| Raid Lockdown | Locks for a set time when too many members join in a short window: 10 joins in 10 seconds locks for 30 minutes by default (3-100 joins, 5-300 seconds, 5-1,440 minutes). Bots don't count. Can also pause invites for up to 24 hours, which needs Verifier to have Manage Server. | Off | Premium |
| Schedule | Locks and unlocks every day at set times, in the time zone you pick (for example Europe/Istanbul). An unlock time earlier than the lock time means the next day. New schedules start at 00:00-08:00 UTC. | Off | Premium |
How It Works
A lock denies Send Messages, Send Messages in Threads and Create Public and Private Threads for @everyone, and removes those permissions from every other role and member override on the channel. Verifier remembers exactly which permissions it changed and unlocking restores only those, so edits you make while a channel is locked stay. Staff roles and the Verifier role get those permissions allowed instead, so they keep talking. Text, announcement, forum, media, voice and stage channels can be locked.
The Lock page in the dashboard lists your channels. Show the open or the locked ones, pick the channels you want, then lock them with a reason and, with Premium, an Unlock after time, or unlock them. Channels where members already can't send messages aren't listed, since there is nothing to lock.
Locking several channels, a category or every channel runs in the background. Progress is edited into the reply with a Cancel button, and the Lock page in the dashboard shows the same job.
A category lock, and a lockdown that covers a category, locks the channels that are in the category when it starts, whether they're synced with the category or not. Verifier doesn't change the category's own permissions, so a channel created in the category later, or synced with it again in Discord while it's locked, isn't locked.
With Premium, the duration option unlocks on its own after 10 or 30 minutes, 1, 3, 6 or 12 hours, or 1, 3 or 7 days. Locking a timed channel again with a longer duration extends it; locking it without a duration keeps it locked until you unlock it.
While a raid lockdown is active, only members with Manage Server can run /unlock all or /unlock category. /unlock all, or unlocking every locked channel at once on the Lock page, ends the lockdown early and resumes invites.
Verifier Only Changes What It Has
Verifier needs Manage Roles and View Channel in each channel. Discord rejects permission changes a bot doesn't have itself, so Verifier skips them. Give the Verifier role Send Messages and the thread permissions before you lock.
Large Servers Take a While
Verifier works through channels at a steady pace so the rest of the bot keeps responding. If a run stops partway, run the command again: channels that are already locked are skipped.
Premium
Silver: timed locks and staff roles. Gold: lockdown channels and raid lockdown. Diamond: a custom notice and the daily schedule.
Troubleshooting
Some channels didn't lock
Read-only channels are skipped, and Verifier only changes permissions its own role has. Check the Verifier role in Server Settings › Roles.
A new channel in a locked category isn't locked
A category lock covers the channels that were in the category when it started. Lock the new channel on its own, or run the category lock again; channels that are already locked are skipped.
Members can still send messages
The server owner, members with Administrator and your staff roles ignore locks. Check the member's roles and the channel's overrides.
/lock all stopped partway
The job was cancelled or the bot restarted. Run the command again; locked channels are skipped and it carries on from there.
A timed lock didn't end
Verifier couldn't change the channel, usually because its role lost a permission. It tries again every 15 minutes and adds an Unlock failed entry to the audit log.
